males?
In most species, most males do not produce offspring. They may get laid if
they invent contraception, but most don't breed.
Those who do, knock up so many
females. Those are the feared, awed, legendary alpha males.
Gene pool Survival
The alpha males are usually the male with many capability that correlates
with gene pool survival. Those are capability like strongest, fastest, etc.
Females that picked such males survive well in the gene pool. So females that
are around like cotams.
Picking the right males to fertilize her egg will ensure that a female will have high quality kids
that'll survive in the gene pool. In fact, for most species, including humans,
picking the right cock, is the most important choice a female can make to
survive well in the gene pool.
A male humans got to worry about the up and down of stock market, math
problems, war strategy, business, and empire building. A female humans need to
worry about one thing. Get impaled by a high quality cotam.
Hence, most of the females' intelligence, emotion, heuristic processing
units, and instincts are mainly build just for this purpose. Okay, I exaggerate.
But it's true to a much higher extend than what most mainstream theorists want
you to believe.
Preferences that get females in the gene pool,
are preferences that become common latter. This is how most species evolve.
Positive Feedback Sexual
Selection
Gene pool survival include sexual selection. In many species, including
humans, females and selection play an important role in deciding which males
that'll reproduce more. Excluding rape, without a female selecting a male, that
male's gene pool survival, will usually plummet.
What shall profit a man should he gain the whole world, yet don't knock
chickz up.
Because of this, being sexually attractive, is often more important than
being able to live long. Males risk life in the army for wealth. Women don't eat
to stay thin.
All this is a sample of how our basic instincts guide us for gene pool
survival.
Sometimes, some males, possess capability that do not correlate with survival
capability. The peacock, have long tails, that do not serve survival.
Nevertheless, peahen like peacock with long tails. Why? Because sexual
selection is positive feedback. If peahens like peacocks with long tails,
peacocks with long tails will have more females.
The happy couples will produce peacocks with long tails and peahens with
preferences for longer tails.
It's a bird. It's a plane. It's a circular argument. No. It's a positive
feedback system.
We don't really know the origin why peacocks have long tails in the first
place.
Maybe long tails signal fitness because it's harder to maintain. The same
explain why males buy expensive shiny cars or climb mountains. Such acts signal
fitness and (financial) capability.
Maybe a peacock demagogue preach the mass peahens not to pick peacocks with short
tail sometime in the past. In humans, life long indoctrination for females not
to pick rich males often make many females cheat their rich husband for... a
milk man.
Maybe God creates peacocks to have such tails and peahens for that
preferences to start with. We don't know. And it's not important.
All we need to know, for the sake of argument in this website, is that sexual
selection and sexual attraction is positive feedback. If we can guess what works
in the gene pool in the past, we know what works on instinctive level now.
Alpha Males in this Website
In most species, alpha males are any males that mate with many females.
Alpha males in this website are super males. Because females' desire correlate
well with other achievements, such as wealth, power, Math skills, rationality,
common sense, understanding, popularity, and creativity, we use alpha males to
mean those males with genetic natural ability that have all those.
Though not all males can be alpha males, there are many things they can do to
be more attractive. Women are either pretty or not. Males can proof their
genetic quality by acquiring wealth, power, hierarchy, influence, seduction
skill, and many more.
