“My life is in my hand. Not in the hand of God or other humans” - Lao Tze I am a businessmen. As a businessmen, I need to keep verifying theories I've learnt with reality. Hence, as a businessmen, I don't just accept what societies told me. When I saw a math problem, I didn't just pray hoping that the goddess of fate will grant me the solution. I understand the theories behind the problem. Then, I hack through the problem and solve it. When the stake is something significant, like money, I too counted on God, fate, etc without knowing how it works. That's what many people told me. Then I became poor. So I chose differently. I choose to understand how to life the way I understand Math. I choose to trust my own understanding rather than just agreeing with what others tell. It's a little bit different. Then I started a business. Then I grew prosperous. Less fortunate? We are taught that people become poor because of lack of chance or fortune. People than argue that disparity of wealth is caused by some form of unfairness in the system. That people become poor because of the societies' fault, that need to be fixed by welfare, immigration laws, etc. However, as live goes on, I begun to doubt the idea of less fortunate. I mean, I am a successful businessmen now. Was life easy for me? No! There were time where I was homeless. There were time where I had no job. There were time where I need a job, I tried to apply to work for a construction worker, and got rejected because I am an immigrant. I figure that anyone that can easily got a construction worker job must be more fortunate than I am. People are poor often mainly because of one reason, lack of genetic capability to create wealth. Men vary in intelligence natural capability. Those differences are hardwired in men's genes. Equal chance, equally lucky, fair meritocratic distribution of wealth, some people will be very rich, some people will be very poor. So you don't like disparity of wealth? You think it's wrong. Fine... Change the playing field. Introduce deviation from meritocracy and violate individual freedom. Then the same guys that would have gotten rich through capitalism, will still get rich too, through dictatorship and corruption. Men, are not equal. Some men are way more capable. They are superior and predestined to be on top of the others. It depends more on what that men choose, rather than what the world choose for them. That is why, I like capitalism. It ensures that those who'll achieve greatness, do so through productive means than through force and violent. I used to be non violent, that's the reason I liked capitalism in the past to. The good guys that do not like to use inconsensual means to get what they want are wiped out outside capitalism. The remains either extinct or turn bad. Also, all my life, it's capitalism that helped poor people like I was. Government just get in the way. Because, I am smart. That's why I succeed. That's why I will succeed. Bill Gates, watch your back... |
