The way to motivate people is to find out what they want and convince them that they'll get it when they do what you want. When what they want and your interest coincide, they'll serve your cause.

To be more exact, in business, people want money. So, I motivate business partner by convincing others that they'll be richer choosing the strategy that serve my interest too. That's how I make money.
